Speed of light broken
Aug 16th, 2007 | By CentroN | Category: PhysicsTwo German physicists claim to have broken the speed of light: 186,000 miles per second. They claim to have forced light to overcome its speed limit using “quantum tunnelling”, in which microwave photons – energetic packets of light – appeared to travel “instantaneously” between two prisms a metre apart.
